So I'm happy to report I am still sticking to my new running plan. It has a little more moderation than I'm used to and hell, it's a "plan."
Monday's goal: 8 miles 7:10-7:15 pace. I did 8 at 6:59 ...tiny relapse. Clearly the :59 was my attempt at rebellion.
Tuesday: Track 2x400 1:21, 1:23
1x 800 2:56
2x 400 1:20, 1:20
This is my second track of the year so I didn't have any times..I just did whatever...that will change soon ; ) the recovery was a 400 jog. No standing or walking. And a 2 mile warm up and 1.5 cool down. 8 total.
(immediately after I swam for 30 minutes. VERY hard after track.)
Wednesday - OFF
Thursday- headed out for 8 at 7:10-7:15
