I am ok guys. I was a few blocks from the explosions. I had just spent time hugging my girlfriends at the bomb locations. I am beside myself. It is horrific. I am at the airport trying to get a flight home.
Thanks for your concern. My heart is heavy for everyone. XO
Laura
Laura,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're okay. What I terrible thing. My heart goes out to all the families affected and to Boston.
Thank God! I would have been ready to go to war if anyone hurt you!
ReplyDeleteZipping through the traffic on my bike this morning on my way to work I just felt SAD here I am 10 000 miles away and this is affecting me, I can only imagine how it must have hit you in the US and more so the runners.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased you beat the bomb...
So glad you are ok! I knew several other people who finished before the bomb went off too. It's senseless and insane.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you and yours are well!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're okay! And thank you for posting, I had to come here and check as I've been following your blog for a while now.
ReplyDeleteIt is so sad and I am so angry!! This should be such a happy occasion and a time for celebration and it is marred by this horrific and senseless act. It's so hard not to take this personally just being a runner and knowing a lot of people at the race, I can't imagine how you must feel having been through it. Take care Laura, I am really proud of you and I am so sorry this happened.
